E-commerce has a lot of work that can be done alone with a computer and a good internet connection. But we shouldn’t forget that the market is made up of people. It is people who change trends and it is people who buy and sell. E-commerce meetups combine all that: people, trends and changes.
So we really think that taking the time to assist an e-commerce meeting can be beneficial for you. It is a great way to keep updated and also to meet interesting people that can end up being suppliers, partners or even friends.
The biggest issue of these events usually is the same: Will it be worth the time and cost? Here we want to lessen this risk by offering you a list with the best e-commerce events and meetups in the Netherlands.
ps: Don’t forget to add, if we miss any event/meetup to share.

It will take place on 31st May 2017 in Amsterdam. We still don’t have much information about the next event because there are still some months to go, but looking at the success it had last year, we don’t have any doubt 2017 will see another excellent meeting here. In addition to these events, we have gathered some meetups that we think are also very interesting:
Amsterdam WooCommerce Meetup
If you would like to meet with people, who are doing things in WooCommerce; Amsterdam WooCommerce Meetup can be an ideal choice. As their last meetup was organized in September, we couldn’t guess their next meetup but joining their group leads you to learn the latest details.
Hackers and Founders Amsterdam
They meet every first Thursday of the month in Café de Doffer. Run by a community of technology entrepreneurs and developers they focus on startups, but of course if you want to be an innovative e-commerce business, you may find their meetings interesting.
Magento User Group Groningen
Same idea as before but this time in Groningen about Magento, this meetup is worth attending to ask questions and learn about the potential of the platform you are using.
This is not as big as the previous ones and is much more focused on a specific topic: PrestaShop. But it is a good chance to meet new people in Rotterdam with similar interests and build a community to help each other with PrestaShop doubts and possibilities.
This event is organized in Amsterdam by ThuisWinkel.org to give more detailed information related to e-commerce. It’s good for updating your knowledge.
